Warrant Officer Course

Course Aim: The aim of the course is to provide selected NZCF cadets with the knowledge and skills required to perform the duties of a Cadet Unit Warrant Officer.

Course Description: A full time residential course where theory and practical instruction is provided in: Leadership, Drill, Life Skills and an Introduction to UNCROC.

Student Eligibility: Consideration will be given to NZCF Senior cadets, who have met the prerequisites, and:
a. Have qualified on the Senior Non-Commissioned Officers Course;
b. Have completed the third year of the Training Syllabus;
c. Have served a minimum of six months in the rank of CDTFSGT (E);
d. Are recommended by their CUCDR; and
e. Are recommended by their AC.

Course Pre-requisites: Nil.

Course Specific Requirements: Nil.

Course Capacity: 4x Officer Staff, 12-30 students

Course Duration (Training Days): 3 working days. Students will also be required to conduct assignment preparation outside of normal working hours whilst on course.
